							Stanford -- Russell L. Orr, 85, of Stanford passed 
							away on Tuesday evening, July 8, 2104 at his home. 
							 
							Funeral Services for Mr. Orr will be held Saturday, 
							July 12, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at Quiram-Peasley 
							Funeral Home in Atlanta. with Mr. James Gilroy 
							officiating 
							 
							Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 
							p.m. Friday, July 11, 2014 at Quiram-Peasley Funeral 
							Home in Atlanta. 
							 
							Burial will be in the McLean Cemetery. 
							 
							Russell is survived by his children: Shirley 
							(Barney) Potts, Brenda (Artie) Horath, Sherri 
							(Irvin) Figgins all of Stanford,. and Paula (Mark) 
							Neuhouse of Bloomington; two sisters: Marilyn June 
							Smith of Urbana and Bonnie Hitt of St. Joseph; 11 
							grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, one 
							great great grandchild.. 
							 
							He was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie, three 
							brothers, one son: Thomas Orr and one grandson.  | 
							
							 
                
                  
							Russell L. Orr was born December 11, 1928 in 
							Stanford, the son of Ernest and Lillie Rearden Orr. 
							He married Nellie M. Barr in Stanford on May 7, 
							1950. She preceded him in death July 24, 2006. 
							Mr. Orr worked as a Union Carpenter Local # 63 and 
							Caterpillar. He owned a The Shed II restaurant and 
							Bar for 26 years. in Stanford. He was a member of 
							the Stanford Presbyterian Church. 
							 
							Memorials may be made to Allin Township Ambulance or 
							Leroy Ambulance Service. 
							 
							The family would to say a special Thank You to OSF 
							Home and Hospice Care also Dr. Otic Allen for the 
							care given to their Father during his illness.
