The funeral Mass for Mrs. Pokorski will be at 9:30
a.m. Saturday at Holy Family Church, with the Rev.
Thomas Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Holy
Cross Cemetery.
Mrs. Pokorski worked at the A&P grocery store in
Lincoln for 35 years as a clerk and bookkeeper.
She was born July 22, 1922, in Middletown to
Joseph E. and Katie Endicotte Montgomery. She
married Frank T. Pokorski on March 9, 1942. He died
Sept. 30, 1974.
She is survived by her son, George (and Judith
A.) Pokorski of Shreveport, La.; her special
companion of many years, Bud Moos of Lincoln; one
sister, Josephine Kindred of Houston, Texas; three
grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters.
She was a member of Holy Family Church.
She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1940.
